It's Your Move (game show)

It's Your Move was an American game show that aired in syndication from September 1992 to May 1993. The show was hosted by Wink Martindale and announced by Charlie O'Donnell.

The central premise of It's Your Move involved two contestants competing to identify popular trends based on clues provided by a panel of celebrity guests. These trends could encompass various aspects of popular culture, including fashion, music, movies, and slang.

The game was played in two rounds, each involving a different category of trends. In each round, the celebrity panel acted out or described clues related to the trend. The contestants then bid on the number of clues they thought they needed to correctly identify the trend. The contestant who bid the lowest number of clues got the opportunity to guess. A correct guess earned points, while an incorrect guess allowed the opposing contestant to attempt an answer.

The contestant with the highest score at the end of the two rounds advanced to a bonus round. In the bonus round, the contestant had a limited amount of time to correctly identify a series of rapid-fire trends. A successful bonus round performance resulted in a grand prize.

It's Your Move was produced by Merv Griffin Enterprises and distributed by King World Productions. Despite its relatively short run, the show attempted to capitalize on the cultural interest in identifying and predicting trends, a concept not frequently explored in game show formats.
