Korenevo

Korenevo is a settlement and the administrative center of Korenevsky District in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located on the Seym River.

It is known historically as the site of several battles and skirmishes during World War II. The area was occupied by German forces for a significant period, and heavy fighting took place during its liberation.

The economy of Korenevo is primarily agricultural. There are also some small industrial enterprises located in the settlement.

Korenevo is connected to other parts of Kursk Oblast and Russia by roads.
