The Teenagers (French band)

The Teenagers were a French electro-pop band formed in Paris in 2005. The group consisted of Quentin Delafon, Dorian Dumont, and Michaël Brun. They gained international attention for their sexually suggestive and often ironic lyrics, delivered over a blend of indie pop, synth-pop, and electronic music.

Their debut album, Reality Check, was released in 2008 and received mixed to positive reviews, praised for its catchy hooks and provocative themes, but also criticized for its perceived lack of depth. The album featured popular tracks such as "Homecoming," "Starlett Johansson," and "A*E."

The Teenagers were known for their energetic live performances and their distinctive, often controversial, image. They toured extensively following the release of Reality Check, playing at festivals and venues worldwide.

In 2010, the band released their second album, Throwing Bombs, which explored similar themes to their debut but with a slightly darker and more experimental sound. While the album garnered some positive attention, it did not achieve the same level of commercial success as Reality Check.

The Teenagers disbanded shortly after the release of Throwing Bombs in 2010. Members have since pursued individual musical projects. While their time in the spotlight was relatively brief, The Teenagers left a mark on the late 2000s indie music scene with their unique blend of provocative lyrics and catchy electronic pop.
