Sholver

Sholver is a residential area and electoral ward within the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. It lies on the high ground of the Pennine foothills, about 2.5 miles (4 km) northeast of Oldham town centre, and is historically part of Lancashire.

Sholver is characterized by its elevated position, offering views across the surrounding landscape. The area largely consists of council estates built after the Second World War to address housing shortages. It has a strong sense of community and local identity.
