The Brink (2017 film)

The Brink (original title: Kwok on gwaan tau, 狂獸) is a 2017 Hong Kong action film directed by Jonathan Li. It stars Max Zhang, Shawn Yue, Janice Man, Wu Yue, and Yasuaki Kurata.

The film centers around a former detective, Sai Gau (Max Zhang), who has been demoted to a coastal patrol unit after a controversial case. He becomes embroiled in a dangerous investigation involving a ruthless smuggler known as Shing (Shawn Yue), who is linked to a series of mysterious deaths. Sai Gau, along with his new partner, Sun (Wu Yue), must navigate the treacherous waters of Hong Kong's underworld and contend with Shing's brutal tactics to bring him to justice.
