Dear Santa (EP)

Dear Santa (EP) is a Christmas-themed extended play by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor. Released on October 21, 2022, by Epic Records, it features six tracks: five original songs and a cover of Perry Como's "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas." The EP is characterized by its blend of modern pop sensibilities with classic Christmas sounds, incorporating elements of doo-wop and Motown. The lyrical themes explore various aspects of the holiday season, including gift requests to Santa Claus, romantic love during Christmas, and general festive cheer. The EP served as a companion piece to Trainor's full-length Christmas album, A Very Trainor Christmas (2020).
