Terry Wey
Terry Wey is an Austrian countertenor specializing in Baroque and classical music. He is known for his virtuosic vocal technique, expressive interpretations, and stage presence.
Wey received his musical education at the Vienna Boys' Choir and later studied singing with Kurt Equiluz and Christine Schwarz. He has performed with numerous renowned ensembles and orchestras including Concentus Musicus Wien, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Les Arts Florissants, and the Freiburger Barockorchester, under the direction of conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, William Christie, René Jacobs, and Andreas Spering.
His repertoire encompasses a wide range of roles in operas by composers such as Handel, Purcell, Gluck, and Mozart.
