Danny Williams (rugby league, born 1973)

Danny Williams (born 1973) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. His position was usually at prop.

Williams played for the Penrith Panthers, the South Queensland Crushers, and the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League (NRL). He debuted with Penrith in 1993. He played for South Queensland in 1996 and 1997 during the Super League war. He joined North Queensland for the 1998 NRL season and played several seasons for the Cowboys, becoming a consistent member of their forward pack. He was known for his strong running and tackling.

Details of his post-playing career are scarce, but he is believed to have remained involved in rugby league at a local level.
