He gained widespread recognition in 2020 with his lo-fi house track "ily (i love you baby)" featuring vocals sampled from Emilee Flood's cover of Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". The song became a global hit, charting in numerous countries and achieving multi-platinum certifications.

Aguirre began producing music in his teens, initially focusing on trap and hip-hop influenced beats.
