Sitganga

Sitganga (also spelled Shitganga) is a rural municipality located in the Arghakhanchi District of Lumbini Province, Nepal. It was formed in 2017 by merging the former Village Development Committees (VDCs) of Thada, Siddhara, Juluke, Khidim, Simalpani, and Bangi.

The municipality is situated in the hilly region of Arghakhanchi and is primarily an agricultural area. The main occupation of the inhabitants is farming, with maize, rice, and vegetables being the primary crops. Livestock farming is also common.

Sitganga is characterized by its diverse topography, ranging from valleys to hills, and is crossed by several small rivers and streams. The population is a mix of different ethnic groups, including Brahmins, Chhetris, Magars, and Dalits.

Access to education and healthcare is limited in some parts of the municipality due to its remote location and difficult terrain.
