Norman Sharp (footballer)
Norman Sharp (born March 20, 1945) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward.
Sharp began his career with Scunthorpe United, making his league debut in 1962. He then moved to Hull City in 1965, where he enjoyed considerable success, becoming a key player in the team's promotion to the First Division in 1966. Sharp was known for his pace, skillful dribbling, and ability to score goals.
He left Hull City in 1971 and joined Torquay United. He remained at Torquay for two seasons before retiring from professional football.
After retiring, Sharp remained involved in football at a non-league level. His career highlights include playing in the First Division with Hull City and contributing to their successful promotion campaign.
