Line F (Buenos Aires Underground)

Line F is a line of the Buenos Aires Underground (Subte) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It currently runs between the stations Plaza Constitución and Facultad de Derecho, operating entirely within the city of Buenos Aires. It is identified by the color light green.

Construction of Line F began in 2010 and the first section was inaugurated on December 14, 2014. The line connects the south of the city with the central area and subsequently to the Recoleta neighborhood.

Line F is important for providing a direct connection between two major railway terminals, Constitución and Retiro (via transfer at 9 de Julio station to Lines C and D respectively), facilitating transportation for commuters traveling into and out of the city. It also serves several universities and educational institutions, making it a vital transport option for students.

The line is planned to be extended further north towards the Palermo neighborhood, though specific completion dates for these extensions remain subject to ongoing review and funding. The current extension project includes additional stations designed to improve connectivity across the city.

Like other lines of the Buenos Aires Underground, Line F is operated by Subterráneos de Buenos Aires S.E. (SBASE). The trains on Line F are typically composed of multiple cars, providing high capacity for passenger transport during peak hours.
