Saint-Amé
Saint-Amé is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France. It is located in the Lorraine region. The inhabitants are known as Amésiens. The commune is part of the canton of Remiremont and the arrondissement of Épinal. Its postal code is 88120.
The town derives its name from Saint Amatus (French: Saint-Amé), a 7th-century Benedictine monk and disciple of Saint Romaric, who served as abbot of Remiremont Abbey.
