Shane Ryan (association footballer)

Shane Ryan (born January 16, 1994) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Shelbourne.

Career

Ryan began his career in the youth ranks of St. Joseph's Boys before moving to UCD where he played for their U19 team and later their senior team in the League of Ireland First Division. He joined Ipswich Town in 2012 but did not make a senior appearance. He then moved to Shelbourne.

Ryan also spent time with AFC Sudbury during his time at Ipswich.

Ryan later returned to professional football, signing for Shelbourne in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
