Toromani

Toromani is a small, uninhabited island located in Lake Titicaca, part of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Situated near the larger Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun), Toromani is characterized by its rocky terrain and sparse vegetation.

While Toromani lacks permanent inhabitants and lacks significant archaeological sites, it still holds interest due to its proximity to Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna, both of which possess considerable historical and cultural importance related to Inca mythology and pre-Columbian civilizations. As such, Toromani is often included in boat tours of the Lake Titicaca region, offering tourists a different perspective of the lake and its surrounding landscapes. The island itself does not feature specific attractions, however the panoramic views it affords of the larger islands and the surrounding lake are a notable feature.
