Seven Little Monsters (TV series)

Seven Little Monsters is a Canadian-American animated children's television series based on the children's book of the same name by Maurice Sendak. The series premiered on September 12, 2000, on PBS Kids in the United States and CBC Television in Canada. It ran for three seasons, concluding on December 24, 2003.

The show follows the adventures of seven young monsters – One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, and Seven – each with unique personalities and behaviors. Their mother, voiced by Susan Blu, attempts to guide them through everyday situations while dealing with their often chaotic and unpredictable antics. Episodes typically explore themes of family, friendship, problem-solving, and emotional development.

The animation style is distinctive, closely resembling Sendak's original illustrations. The series is aimed at preschool-aged children and emphasizes gentle humor and positive life lessons.
