Henry Willis (politician)
Henry Willis (1821-1907) was an Australian politician. He served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly and the New South Wales Legislative Council.
Born in Liverpool, England, Willis emigrated to New South Wales. He entered colonial politics and represented various electoral districts in the Legislative Assembly, including the electoral district of Cornwallis from 1859 to 1860, West Macquarie from 1860 to 1869, and East Sydney from 1880 to 1885.
He was a vocal and at times controversial figure in parliament, known for his strong opinions and advocacy for certain causes. He held the position of Secretary for Lands in the ministry of Sir Henry Parkes on several occasions.
