Pujaut

Pujaut is a commune in the Gard department in southern France. It is located in the Occitanie region. The inhabitants of Pujaut are known as Pujautains (masculine) and Pujautaines (feminine). The commune is situated a short distance from Avignon, across the Rhône river. Its economy is largely based on agriculture, particularly wine production. It is part of the Côtes du Rhône wine region. The area also attracts tourists due to its proximity to Avignon and other historic sites.
