CS:GO Team
Winterfox's CS:GO team was their most prominent and successful division. The team consisted of a mix of North American and Oceanic players. While they participated in several notable tournaments, they did not achieve significant championship victories. The team was known for frequent roster changes and internal issues that impacted performance. Some notable players who competed under the Winterfox banner include:
- Todd "anger" Williams
- Warren "jhk" Khawa
- Alexander "LeX" Menshikov
League of Legends Team
Winterfox also fielded a League of Legends team that competed in the North American Challenger Series. Similar to their CS:GO division, the League of Legends team struggled to achieve consistent success and did not qualify for the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).
Organization Demise
Winterfox faced numerous challenges, including financial difficulties and organizational instability, which ultimately led to its disbandment in 2016. The organization's legacy is primarily associated with its CS:GO team and its struggles within the competitive esports scene.
