Seen (artist)
Seen (born Richard Mirando, 1961) is an American graffiti artist. He is one of the most prominent graffiti artists of all time, often referred to as the "Godfather of Graffiti."
Seen began painting trains in New York City in 1973. By the early 1980s, he had gained widespread recognition for his whole-car murals and innovative lettering styles on subway cars. He was a key figure in the transition of graffiti from the subway system to gallery settings.
