Ivan Sokolov (composer)

Ivan Glebovich Sokolov (born 1960) is a Russian composer, pianist, and music theorist. He is known for his complex and often highly dissonant musical language, drawing inspiration from various sources including Russian Orthodox chant, avant-garde techniques, and spectral music.
