Salyut 7 (film)

Salyut 7 is a 2017 Russian disaster drama film directed by Klim Shipenko. It is based on the 1985 mission to salvage the Soviet space station Salyut 7. The film dramatizes the real-life events surrounding the loss of contact with the unmanned station and the subsequent perilous mission undertaken by cosmonauts Vladimir Dzhanibekov and Viktor Savinykh to dock with, repair, and reactivate it.
