Kārlis Zariņš (writer)

Kārlis Zariņš (born February 28, 1849, Vecpiebalga parish, Latvia; died January 13, 1926, Riga, Latvia) was a Latvian writer, educator, and translator. He is best known for his contributions to Latvian prose and his work in popularizing educational materials for the Latvian populace.
