Rod Myers
Rod Myers (1949 – 2007) was an American college golf coach. He is best known for his 32-year tenure as the head men's golf coach at Duke University. During his time at Duke, Myers led the Blue Devils to 11 ACC Championships and the 2005 NCAA Championship. He was named ACC Coach of the Year 13 times and National Coach of the Year in 2005. Myers was inducted into the Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame in 2003. He passed away after battling leukemia. The Duke University Golf Club is home to the Rod Myers Invitational, an annual collegiate golf tournament held in his honor. His legacy is one of dedication, integrity, and developing well-rounded student-athletes.
