Edward Drake (cricketer)
Edward Drake was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Cambridge University between 1893 and 1896. He was a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler.
Born in Godalming, Surrey, Drake attended Eton College before going up to Cambridge. He earned a Blue for cricket in 1895 and 1896. His highest score was 82, made against Sussex in 1896. He also played for Surrey Second XI.
After graduating from Cambridge, Drake pursued a career outside of cricket. Limited information exists regarding his life after cricket.
