Robert McGhee (politician)
Robert McGhee (born circa 1870, died 1960) was a Scottish Labour Party politician. He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Glasgow Pollock constituency from 1935 to 1950.
McGhee was a trade unionist, involved with the National Union of Distributive and Allied Workers (NUDAW), where he held various positions prior to his election to Parliament. He was also active in local politics before entering national politics.
During his time in Parliament, McGhee was a consistent supporter of Labour Party policies and a representative of his working-class constituency. He focused on issues such as employment, housing, and social welfare. He did not seek re-election in 1950.
