Ray Henderson (footballer)
Ray Henderson (born 19 February 1951) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for South Melbourne and Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Henderson, a rover, started his VFL career at South Melbourne in 1970. He played 105 games with South Melbourne over eight seasons, earning a reputation as a hard-working and reliable player. He represented Victoria in interstate football.
In 1978, Henderson was traded to Fitzroy. He played 21 games for Fitzroy in 1978 and 1979, before retiring from VFL football.
