Armikrog

Armikrog is a stop-motion animated adventure game developed by Pencil Test Studios and published by Versus Evil. It was released in 2015 for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux, and later for PlayStation 4.

The game follows the story of Tommynaut, a space explorer, and his blind alien dog Beak-Beak. After crash-landing on a strange planet called Armikrog, they find themselves trapped within a mysterious fortress. The player controls Tommynaut and Beak-Beak, solving puzzles and exploring the hand-crafted claymation environments to uncover the secrets of Armikrog and ultimately escape.

Armikrog is notable for its distinctive visual style, created using traditional stop-motion animation with clay puppets and hand-built sets. The game features a point-and-click interface and focuses on exploration, puzzle-solving, and character interaction. The soundtrack was composed by Terry Taylor.

The game was a crowdfunded project on Kickstarter, successfully raising over $900,000. While praised for its art style and music, Armikrog received mixed reviews upon release, with criticism directed towards its puzzle design, short length, and ending.
