Ransol
Ransol is a small village located in the Incles Valley of Andorra. Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,740 meters (5,710 feet), it is known primarily for its proximity to the Grandvalira ski resort, specifically the Soldeu-El Tarter sector. During the winter months, Ransol serves as a convenient base for skiers and snowboarders.
The village is characterized by traditional Andorran architecture, featuring stone and wood buildings. While Ransol is relatively small and quiet compared to larger resort towns, it offers a selection of hotels, apartments, and restaurants catering to tourists.
Beyond skiing, Ransol and the Incles Valley offer opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities during the summer months. The Incles Valley itself is a popular destination for its natural beauty, including mountain landscapes, streams, and hiking trails. The valley is known for its biodiversity.
Ransol provides a more tranquil alternative to the busier resort centers while still offering easy access to the Grandvalira ski area. Its economy is largely dependent on tourism.
