Kochechum
Kochechum (also spelled Kochekhum or Kochekum) is the name of a river located in Siberia, Russia. It is a right tributary of the Lower Tunguska River. The Kochechum is situated in the Krasnoyarsk Krai region of Russia, flowing through a sparsely populated area. The river is known for its relatively long length and significance in the regional drainage basin. Its basin is characterized by taiga forests and permafrost, typical of the Siberian landscape. Hydrologically, the Kochechum River experiences high water levels during the spring thaw and lower levels during the winter months when temperatures are consistently below freezing. The river is also used for navigation to some extent by local populations, although challenging due to its remoteness and seasonal ice cover.
