Épiais
Épiais is the name of several communes in France. The name is likely derived from a Gallo-Roman origin, possibly relating to a place with thorn bushes or similar vegetation.
There are (or have been) at least two communes with this name:
- Épiais, Eure-et-Loir: A commune in the Eure-et-Loir department in the Centre-Val de Loire region.
- Épiais-lès-Louvres, Val-d'Oise: A commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region. It was formerly simply called Épiais.
