Dick Blaisdell

Dick Blaisdell (born Richard Blaisdell) was an American professional baseball player. He played primarily as a catcher and outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Athletics (later Kansas City Athletics), Chicago White Sox, and Cleveland Indians between 1951 and 1960. Blaisdell was known for his versatility, being able to play multiple positions, and for his role as a utility player. He was not a regular starter, but provided valuable support to his teams. His career statistics include a batting average of .229 with 16 home runs and 105 RBIs. Following his MLB career, he continued to be involved in baseball as a coach and scout.
