Pwllglas
Pwllglas is a small village or hamlet located in the county of Denbighshire, Wales. It is situated in the Vale of Clwyd, approximately three miles (5 km) west of the market town of Ruthin.
The name "Pwllglas" is derived from the Welsh language, where "pwll" means 'pool' or 'pit' and "glas" can mean either 'blue' or 'green'. Common interpretations of the name are therefore "Blue Pool" or "Green Pool".
Pwllglas is primarily a rural settlement, surrounded by farmland. It falls within the administrative community area of Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd. The village is served by a community hall and historically featured a chapel. It serves as a local centre for the surrounding agricultural area.
