James Gallagher (Australian footballer)

James Gallagher is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by Adelaide with pick 11 in the 2018 AFL Rookie Draft. Gallagher is a small forward known for his speed, tackling pressure, and ability to apply forward pressure. He made his AFL debut in Round 19 of the 2020 season against North Melbourne. Gallagher was delisted by Adelaide at the end of the 2021 season. Prior to being drafted, he played for the Murray Bushrangers in the NAB League.
