Masar (horse)
Masar was a Thoroughbred racehorse foaled in 1915. Bred in the United States, he was owned and trained by Walter J. Salmon, Sr. Masar is primarily remembered as the winner of the 1918 Kentucky Derby. He won the Derby wire-to-wire, defeating the favorite, War Cloud.
