Pat Flaherty (baseball)

Pat Flaherty is a former Major League Baseball coach, most notably serving as the bullpen coach for the New York Yankees from 2006 to 2013. During his tenure, the Yankees won the World Series in 2009. Before coaching in the majors, Flaherty worked as a minor league pitching coach in the Yankees' organization. Following his time with the Yankees, he held bullpen coaching positions with the Detroit Tigers (2014-2015), and the San Diego Padres (2016-2019). His responsibilities primarily involved working with relief pitchers on their mechanics, strategy, and mental approach to the game. He has also been involved in player development roles throughout his career.
