Charles Mullins (pediatric cardiologist)

Charles Mullins was a prominent pediatric cardiologist known for his pioneering work in interventional cardiology, particularly in the development and application of balloon angioplasty in children with congenital heart defects. He significantly advanced non-surgical treatments for conditions that previously required open-heart surgery.

Dr. Mullins received his medical degree and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine.
