Bob Thorpe (pitcher)

Robert "Bob" Thorpe (born August 7, 1952) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Montreal Expos from 1975 to 1976.

Thorpe was drafted by the Expos in the 5th round of the 1970 MLB draft. He made his major league debut on September 11, 1975, and appeared in 15 games for the Expos that season, primarily in relief. In 1976, he pitched in 22 games, again mostly as a reliever. His MLB career ended after the 1976 season.

After his major league career, Thorpe continued to play in the minor leagues. His career statistics include a 1-0 record with a 4.18 ERA in 37 MLB appearances.
