Axmarby
Axmarby is a small coastal village located in Gävle Municipality, Gävleborg County, Sweden. It is situated approximately 20 kilometers north of Gävle city. Axmarby is known for its historical ironworks, Axmar bruk, and its picturesque seaside setting.
The Axmar bruk, founded in the 17th century, played a significant role in the region's iron industry. The ironworks produced high-quality iron that was exported to various parts of Europe.
