Pál Ilku
Pál Ilku (born 12 November 1912, in Hajdúböszörmény, Hungary; died 22 April 1973, in Budapest, Hungary) was a Hungarian Communist politician and educator.
Ilku served in various political and educational roles throughout his career in the Hungarian People's Republic. He was Minister of Education from 1957 to 1961. Subsequently, he served as President of the National Assembly (Speaker of Parliament) from 1967 to 1971. He was a member of the Central Committee of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (MSZMP).
