Pístina
Pístina is a small village and municipality in the Jindřichův Hradec District, within the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is situated approximately 23 kilometers east of Jindřichův Hradec.
The municipality covers an area of 6.82 square kilometers (2.63 sq mi), and as of 2023, it has a population of approximately 55 inhabitants.
Pístina is primarily an agricultural area with some opportunities for tourism related to the surrounding countryside. It's a quiet, rural community characterized by traditional Czech architecture and a slow pace of life. The area is relatively sparsely populated. Historical records regarding Pístina are limited, however its history is intertwined with the larger region of Southern Bohemia.
