New View (John Handy album)

New View is a jazz album by alto saxophonist John Handy, released in 1967 on Columbia Records. The album features a sextet consisting of John Handy on alto saxophone, violinist Michael White, guitarist Jerry Hahn, bassist Don Thompson, drummer Terry Clarke, and conga player/percussionist Monty Waters (listed as "Unidentified Conga Player").

New View is notable for its innovative approach to jazz, incorporating elements of world music and free improvisation alongside more traditional jazz structures.
