Ram Bilas Sharma (politician)

Ram Bilas Sharma (born 1 January 1949) is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has served as a cabinet minister in the Government of Haryana, holding portfolios such as Education, Technical Education, Parliamentary Affairs, Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Culture.

Sharma was a prominent leader in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) before joining active politics. He has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Haryana multiple times, representing various constituencies. He is known for his involvement in various social and political movements within Haryana and for his association with Hindu nationalist ideologies.

During his tenure as Education Minister, Sharma implemented various policies aimed at improving the quality of education in the state. He has also been a vocal advocate for the promotion of Sanskrit language and culture.
