Room Service (Bryan Adams album)
Room Service is the tenth studio album by Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams, released on September 10, 2004, in Europe and on May 10, 2005, in the United States. The album's title reflects the fact that many of the songs were written and recorded in hotel rooms while Adams was on tour.
The album features a straightforward rock sound, reminiscent of Adams' earlier work. It was produced by Bryan Adams and Bob Rock. Singles released from the album include "Open Road," "Room Service," and "Flying."
Room Service achieved commercial success in Europe, reaching number one on the German Albums Chart and the Swiss Albums Chart. It also charted well in other European countries. However, its performance in the United States was less impressive, peaking at number 134 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its energetic rock sound and others criticizing its lack of innovation.
