George Dunbar (Pennsylvania politician)

George Dunbar is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for the 39th District since 2023. He previously served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 56th District from 2011 to 2023.

Dunbar's legislative priorities have generally focused on fiscal responsibility, economic development in Western Pennsylvania, and support for local communities. During his time in the House of Representatives, he served on various committees, including Appropriations, Environmental Resources & Energy, and Transportation.

Prior to his election to the General Assembly, Dunbar served as a Westmoreland County Commissioner. He also has experience in the private sector, having worked in the construction and real estate industries.

Dunbar resides in Penn Township, Westmoreland County.
