Mystery Ranch (1932 film)

Mystery Ranch is a 1932 American pre-Code Western film directed by David Howard and starring Cecilia Parker and Tom Keene. The plot revolves around a ranch owner, Alice Thornton (Parker), who is struggling to keep her ranch afloat amidst financial difficulties and the threat of foreclosure. Tom Monroe (Keene), a mysterious stranger, arrives at the ranch and assists Alice in uncovering a plot to sabotage her business, eventually saving the ranch and winning her affection. The film is characterized by its use of stock Western tropes, including cattle rustling, gunfights, and a damsel in distress. It's considered a low-budget "B-movie" of the era.
