National Front (Spain, 2006)
The National Front (Spanish: Frente Nacional, FN) was a far-right political party in Spain, founded in 2006. It emerged from a split within the Spanish Falange of the 21st Century (FE-21). The party's ideology was based on national syndicalism, Spanish nationalism, and anti-immigration sentiments. They advocated for a strong, centralized Spanish state and opposed regional separatism.
The National Front never achieved significant electoral success. They contested various local, regional, and European elections but failed to secure any representation. The party's activities were primarily focused on propaganda dissemination and street demonstrations.
The FN's political program included proposals related to immigration control, border security, and the promotion of traditional Spanish values. They often criticized what they perceived as the erosion of national identity and the negative impact of multiculturalism.
The National Front (Spain, 2006) is not to be confused with other political parties using the same or similar names in other countries. The party was eventually dissolved.
