Miyeon

Miyeon, officially known as Cho Mi-yeon (조미연), is a South Korean singer and actress. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE, formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018.

Born on January 31, 1997, Miyeon initially trained as a YG Entertainment trainee before joining Cube Entertainment. Prior to her debut with (G)I-DLE, she was expected to debut as a member of a different girl group which ultimately did not materialize.

Miyeon debuted as the main vocalist of (G)I-DLE on May 2, 2018, with the release of their debut single "Latata." In addition to her activities with (G)I-DLE, Miyeon is also a solo artist and actress. She has released solo music and has starred in web dramas and television series. She is also a regular MC on various Korean music programs.

Miyeon is recognized for her vocal abilities and visual appeal, contributing significantly to the success and popularity of (G)I-DLE both domestically and internationally.
