Mike Alessi

Mike Alessi (born February 27, 1987) is an American professional motocross and supercross racer. Alessi began racing professionally at a young age, becoming one of the sport's most hyped amateur prodigies. He gained significant attention early in his career due to his family's heavy involvement, particularly his father Tony Alessi, who acted as his manager and team owner.

Alessi primarily competed in the AMA Motocross and Supercross series. He achieved several podium finishes and race wins throughout his career, although he never secured a championship title in either series. He often rode for his own self-funded team, which allowed him to maintain control over his career and racing program.

Alessi's career was marked by both on-track performance and off-track controversy. He was known for his aggressive riding style and occasional clashes with other riders. These incidents, along with his father's outspoken personality, often made him a polarizing figure within the motocross community. He has also competed in international motocross events, including the Motocross des Nations, representing Team USA. More recently, he has transitioned into racing other off-road vehicles.
