Peck's Bad Girl (TV series)
Peck's Bad Girl was a proposed American situation comedy developed for CBS in 1959, but ultimately never broadcast as a regular series. A single pilot episode was filmed and aired as an episode of the anthology series Ford Startime on October 20, 1959.
The show starred Patty McCormack as Roberta "Bobbie" Peck, a mischievous and rebellious teenager who constantly finds herself in trouble. The plot revolved around Bobbie's antics and her relationship with her parents, played by Arthur O'Connell and Sylvia Field, and her attempts to navigate the challenges of adolescence.
Despite McCormack's prior fame as Rhoda Penmark in The Bad Seed, and positive reviews for her performance, CBS did not pick up the series. The Ford Startime presentation remains the only episode ever produced. The lack of a full series run has contributed to its relative obscurity compared to other sitcoms of the era.
